Hey, my name is Paola “Channi” Avila and I’m so grateful and blessed to live in summery Southern Cali. Forever a wild child at heart, joy is sacred to me so I’m always looking to have a fun time and make a spectacle of myself. However, I am a master in professionalism when the situation calls for it. I have been told that my upbeat energy is contagious, that I have a gift for making people feel valued and seen, and that I am able to create beautiful moments of unity between individuals. My friends would describe me as their “best hype-man”, curious, openminded, a healer, highly imaginative, intuitive, a “colorful cartoon character”, and most importantly someone they can feel safe to be their authentic selves around. My hobbies/interests include: laughing until I cry, moving my body, dressing up/cosplay, reading seven different books at a time, missionary work, retail therapy, acting, spirituality, singing (my passion far outweighs my talent), anything and everything that involves art and creativity, and just pursing what brings me joy and chasing the feeling of excitement. I have always had an endless affinity and passion for creativity, beauty, and have been creating art since I could decapitate a barbie doll; I have found it is the best way for me to translate and transmit my ideas, feelings, and philosophies. Having a love for experimenting with various creative media has made me a true Jack of all trades, I have an insatiable thirst to constantly learn new things and push myself out of my comfort zone, and I strive to be a true renaissance woman who is proficient in every possible creative medium.
